Application and Requirements for Membership

 

The USBGA is a non profit 501c3 organization.  It exists for the purpose of teaching and promoting blind golf as well as conducting blind golf tournaments for its members. There are three levels of memberships.  Please check the membership you wish to join.  All dues are paid annually and by the end of the calendar year for the following year.

 

 Totally Blind (B1)                  $25.00 annually.  To play in the National Championship you must have three (3) 18 hole scores of (men 125) (women 130) or less played at a regulation golf course from the men’s tees (measuring approximately 6,000 yards), the senior tees (for those 65 years or older, measuring approximately 5,600 yards) and the women’s tees (measuring approximately 5,000 yards). Regional tournaments do not require qualifying scores.

 

Vision Impaired (B2 - B3)      $25.00 annually.  To play in the National Championship you must have (3 ) 18 hole scores of (B-2 110 for men or 115 for women) (B-3  100 for men or 105 for women) or less played at a regulation golf course from the men’s tees (measuring approximately 6,000 yards), the senior tees (for those 65 years or older, measuring approximately 5,600 yards) and the women’s tees (measuring approximately 5,000 yards). Regional tournaments do not require qualifying scores.

 

Support                                   $25.00 minimum annual donation.  A membership for coaches, friends of blind golf, companies, supporters, etc.

PLEASE NOTE:  Totally blind division requires two different and unrelated USBGA/IBGA Sight Classification Forms. Vision Impaired only require one.
